How do I order Custom Iowa Black Angus Beef?

We're your one-stop destination for an Exclusive VIP Custom Beef Experience. We handle the entire process, from growing YOUR Steer to delivering it right to YOUR table.

Here's how it works:

  • Select and purchase YOUR numbered RLBeef Steer online, over the phone, or in person.

    A 50% deposit is due at the time of purchase, with the remaining 50% due at the time of delivery to the butcher.

    We accept all major credit cards (except Amex and Discover) and Venmo(preferred method).

  • We deliver YOUR Steer to our butcher on its approximate harvest date, which is generally around early November.

  • Our experienced FDA approved butcher will reach out to you directly to discuss your preferences and guide you through your cuts and our simple customization process. You choose thickness, desired cuts and packaging that line up with your families size and meals.

  • At Harvest, You then pay the butcher directly for the selected cuts, processing, and shipping.

    A Half steer average is around $500 processing, and a Whole steer is approximately $1000 depending on your customization and packaging preferences.

    Your custom Iowa Black Angus Beef will be hand-trimmed, FDA-inspected, vacuum-packaged, and then flash-frozen for maximum freshness.

    Your order is then immediately shipped to your location anywhere in the USA. Depending on location, but normally a couple hundred bucks. We can get you a hard estimate at the time of purchase.

How much beef should I expect to put in my freezer?

An approximate 1400-pound (Whole) RLBeef Steer will yield you and average of 540 pounds of trimmed steaks, roasts, brisket, ribs, and hamburger for your enjoyment. We dry age your beef for 21 days, ensuring maximum tenderness and flavor.

A Half steer will yield you approximately 270lbs of packaged beef.
